My goal with this painting was to capture that feeling of a foggy ocean, when the saturation is seemingly reduced to just two tones. When the sun is somehow still shining on the surface while the air around is encased in fog.

I paint in oils because oil paints are made of natural earth materials and do not introduce new microplastics into circulation. The grounded and clear energy of the natural earth materials shows through in oil paintings.
